CerebralFix

CerebralFix is an end-to-end game development studio based in Ōtautahi Christchurch, making games for more than 16 years. The team of 50+ works across creative design and concept development, game design and development, augmented and virtual reality, digital art and animation, immersive installations, and live operations. Since 2009 CerebralFix has powered projects for major global entertainment brands including Apple, BBC, Disney, DreamWorks, EA, Lionsgate, NBC Universal, Niantic, Sony, and Weta Workshop, with work reaching an audience of over 1 billion people. Recent recognition includes multiple 2025 awards for its DREDGE mobile port, including an Apple Design Award and Unity Awards Best Mobile Game. CerebralFix is one of the most established AR/VR-capable studios in the South Island, and a good example of NZ game-dev expertise crossing over into immersive technology.
